- The goal of this investigation was to find out
if there was any relationship between natura-sweet/aspartame and headache.
To accomplish this goal, pre- and post surveys were developed and administered
to nine CARI members and five other willing participants. Pre-survey items
were meant to determine the history of each participant. Three participants
restricted their consumption of products containing naturasweet/aspartame,
while eleven members consumed naturasweet/aspartame products, for two weeks.
A post survey was administered two weeks later. Data was subjected to a
Chi-Square Analysis. Results indicated no significant difference in the
incidence of headaches between naturasweet/aspartame users and non-users.
