Scenario:
 
You and your team of researchers at the Claxton Analytical Research Institute (CARI) have been approached by the research-marketing branch of Wal-Mart with an interesting question. They are concerned that phenylalanines (as in Aspartame, or Nutrasweet) may have negative health effects. You are charged with studying the question and formulating a report that will reflect to the best of your abilities a true, reasonable response on their part to this issue. As a result, we have arrived at the following research topic:
