Discussion/Recommendation for Further Research

The results of our experiment suggest that further recommendations be considered to further validate the claims and data represented through
the survey in this experiment. First, it is suggested that a larger population of people be represented in the sample. This would provide
more validity and reliability to the survey instrument and the data produced through it. Second, it is suggested that further background
knowledge on the effects of aspartame be undertaken in relation to more specific guidelines. A rationale for the experiment would thus be in
place. Third, it is important that the population be controlled by extraneous variables. Fourth, the validity of the experiment would be
enhanced if done over a longer period of time. Fifth, further evidence of aspartame effects would be more realized if the population was put
under more restrictions. Last, it is critical to the research of aspartame effects on human consumption that more research be done like
the research in this report using different measures of control.
