The stage and seating area at Raccoon Creek is a
comfortable location for taking in all those great performances. The large
covered roof provides shade and protection from rain that has been known
to occur during the festivals! AND it is located only a short distance
from the concession stand containing some of that great Georgia barbeque,
roasted peanuts, and a delicacy called 'coon dogs!' However, the one drawback
to the location of the concession stand is that there are several very
comfortable swings between the performing area and the 'eats.' As a result,
some folks get sidetracked and lost from other family members for hours
at a time!
