Speed of Sound

Directions: 1) move to a location at least 100 yards from a building.
2) clap two books together to produce a 'sharp' sound.
3) record the time that is needed for the sound to travel to the wall and back in the form of an echo
4) have someone pace the distance to the wall in meters (large steps)
5) record both time and distance to the wall in paces and move back inside to analyze data
