Question guiding the project:What kind of training do astronauts need for the job?

Overview of the three required learning activities:
1) I went to the Hunstville Space and Rocket Center.
2) I wrote to NASA and I am still waiting for a reply.
3) I went to Fernbank and talked to some employees.

Findings (list):
1. Astronauts need to study different math, science, and technology courses.
2. NASA uses simulators to train astronauts for future spaceflight missions.
3. The centrifuge is used to help astronauts get over motion sickness nd get a feel for gravity.
4. The Vomit Comet is a KC-135 jet used to train astronauts in weightlessness conditions.
5. Future astronauts need to get use to space food and space-like enviroments.
6. NASA gives complete physical exams, to make sure astronauts meet the standard health regulations.
7. Future astronauts need to know the Higher Order Assembly Language.
8. Astronauts need to know every inch of the shuttle and all emergency plans.
9. Another part of training is the realization of what being an astronaut really means.

Conclusion: How was question answered: Training to become an astronaut is a vigorous, time consuming job. Astronauts have to be brave, strong, willing, happy, smart, and curious people.
Questions raised for further study:
1. How will future astronauts need to be trained?
2. What kind of new equipment will they invent for future training use?
