Topic: African Elephants
Group Members: Kayla,Toni, and Melissa

Question:
Will the African Elephant become more endangered?

Overview of the three required learning activities:
1. zoo
2. talk to expert
3. Internet site

Findings (list):
1.The elephant might be put on the threatened instead on being endangered.
2.The elephants are being protected by certain laws.
3.Elephants might be hunted again.
4.Elephants are wanted for their tusks and poachers kill them for their tusks.
5.Elephants also died because civilization took over the land.
6.Because of civilizations pollution has increased causing death for many elephants.

Conclusion: We found that the elephant is becoming less endangered and that they might take it off the endangered list and put it on the threatened list.

Questions raised for further study:
1.Will the elephants be hunted again?
2.Will the elephants if taken off the endangered list be put back on soon?
3.Will the elephants still be around in ten more years.
4.Will the elephants in captivity ever be able to raise their babies?
5.Will they pass anymore laws to protect the elephants?
