Harrison WorldLAB Symposium

Topic: Bermuda Triangle

Group Members: Tecia, Aaron, and Ryan

Question guiding the project: Does the Bermuda Triangle have any affect on the disappearance of ships and planes?

Overview of the three required learning activities:
1) Interview a Meterologist,
2) Interview a Coastguard personnel,
3) Create a Web Page

Findings (list):
The Bermuda Triangle area is between the islands of Bermuda, Coast of Florida, down to Puerto Rico. Some explanations on how the ships and planes disappeared:
1) The law of nature became "mixed up."
2) A mysterious wall pulled in people and sent them to other time periods.
3) A crack in the sea floor released deadly chemicals which only affected the human body and vaporized them. That is why ships returned abandoned.

Conclusion: Was hypothesis proven correct, or incorrect - OR how was question answered: Our hypothesis was proven incorrect due to not enough proof.

Questions raised for further study:
1) Where did the people go?
2) Does El Nino have something to do with the disappearences?
3) Can there ever be a ship designed to past though the area without anyone disappearing or being destroyed?
