Steps in Producing POMS:

1. Read article or chapter.

2. Outline the article or chapter using full sentence or key-words

3. Write an essay from the outline that is less than one page in length

4. Condense the essay to 1/2 page

5. Condense the 1/2 page essay to one paragraph of less than 60 words.
