The Catalyst - This site is full of links to many sites dealing with lab safety.  There are links to fire extinguisher use, lab safety, and chemical information to name a few.

Council of State Science Supervisors: Science Education Safety - This site provides a lab safety pamphlet in the form of a pdf  file.  The site also has laboratory rules listed for reference.

• Where to find MSDS on the net - good introductory site with lots of information

• Seton Resource Center - good resources

• MSDSs.com - strong site for all types of MSDS

• MSDS Search - The MSDS Repository- A good site for most any kind of materials data

• MSDS Information Site - This is a site in which one can find a multitude of information on MSDS sheets, rules, etc.  It also allows connection to other sites varying from general site, to government and non-profit, to chemical manufacturers, and to pesticides.

• The Physical and Theoretical Chemical Laboratory - Oxford University - This site is excellent for determining effects of certain substances.  Most every chemical can be found within the site linking to the safety data.

HWRP Safety Manual - This has a link to Safety Information for the Science Classroom, a manual developed by Ohio Schools. Check out the Science Safety General Guidelines.

Science Education Safety - This site has a recently published guide to science safety in the classroom, Science and Safety, Make the Connection.  You can print and distribute booklet. Also some good Science Safety Rules and checklist.

Safety in the Elementary (K-6) Science Classroom - a pdf manual published by the American Chemical Society's Committee on Chemical Safety.
