Assignment: Your assignmnet is to research the following websites to gain a better understanding of Native American cultures and their purposes for their artworks and burial mounds. The unit length project for this unit is the design and building of a burial mound. Work with your group to find out which cultures used burials, and research what was included in those burials. Decide on a culture, and begin developing a design for your burial mound, including the artifacts that are to be present and the design of the mound. The artifacts and the mound design should be reflective of the culture chosen.
