    My name is Matt Hoyes, and I'm working toward becoming an art teacher.  Emphasis areas include ceramics, drawing, and photography.  This virtual learning center is designed to aid students in better understanding archeology and the cultures of Native Americans and their purposes for their artwork.

Title:  Native American burial mounds.

Broad Objective:  Research Native American mound builders and their artwork.

Overview:  This virtual learning center is designed to aid students in bettter understanding archeology and the cultures of Native Americans and their purposes for their artwork.  This is to be used prior to the artifact lesson that it the fifth lesson in the five lesson unit.
